New Year's Resolutions

Hi again everyone!

So as you all know, New Years Eve is coming up next month already! Time flies! I remember last year thinking how I was going to start all over on January 1st and accomplish so much. I really don't think that I came through with anything that I promised myself, but hey, it's going to be a new year!

Some things just need to be thought about, which is why I'm doing this at the beginning of November!

One thing I know for sure that is going to be my New Year's Resolution:

- Flossing DAILY! Flossing is so good for your teeth and with those floss stick things with the floss already built in, it's a snap! This was my resolution last year as well and I made it a good 6 months before I started forgetting to floss.

- Keep both dentists apts! Every 6 months!

- Lose weight!!!!!! This is a big one! I've been telling myself I need to lose weight for YEARS now. I managed to lose about 20 lbs in 2009 which I'm very thankful for. But I really need to and not (just) for vanity's sake, but because my health depends on it.

- Study more. Now this I think I did a good job of this year but I could always do more. Especially in history.

I'm sure by the time New Year's Eve gets here I will have 10 more ha, but tell me, what kind of resolutions are you thinking of?

Until next time!
XOXO

The Biggest Loser

I have got to say that The Biggest Loser has got to be one of THE most amazing shows ever. Just watching the contestants (would that be the right word?) change their lives, their souls come back to life again, they regain who they were and change into who they want to be. Even if you are not the least bit overweight, this show is so inspiring. I feel like a better person just watching the weekly episodes. Everyone has something to gain from it, anyone who has felt down on themselves, or who feels lost, it just shows that with some hard work, anything is possible.

But then again, theres me, an overweight girl who watches the episode while eating and drinking diet soda (HA!) and resolving to go out for a walk tomorrow. C'mon people, I know I'm not the only one out there ;) But lets say that we actually do do it? Hmm? We just nonchalantly walk out the doors to our homes, with some comfy walking shoes on, and we decided to go take a look at nature? Maybe next week. Maybe after this test, maybe after I clean my bathroom. We can't keep putting ourselves 2nd, we were created to be #1 in our own lives, we have to be. I didn't create this blog to be a weight loss blog, but a little weight loss thrown in here and there wouldn't hurt would it ;)

If I get a few willing readers, I have a few ideas in mind to keep us motivated, perhaps a fun little contest? Tell me what you think!

Stay tuned!

Very First Post

So this is my brand new blog! I should probably start with a bit about myself and then tell everyone what I hope to do with this blog.

Well, first off, my name is Natasha, my username comes from the joined names of my bunnies, Pucci and Viola (Pucci + Viola = Pucciola!). I am about to turn 22 and I am a full-time student at a University. I love to cook, read, watch movies and TV, learn, laugh and I just like to enjoy life.

The reason I started this blog is because I went through a bit of a rough patch over the last few years, and now that I have started to get back on my feet, I feel like I have a lot to say and share.

I was diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) last year and have been struggling to turn things back around the where they should be, and its been hard! 1 in 10 women suffer from PCOS and I am one of them. On my blog I am going to tell you about my story, how I was diagnosed, the trials I have overcame or am still trying to overcome, as well as some helpful advice that I can give from just plain experience. Like "Recipe of the Week", a recipe that I have made in my own kitchen, all by myself, with ingredients from the local grocery store, and that were great! And they will be usually low fat, tasteful, and simple to make. I will post the link to the recipe or will type it out by hand.

So pretty much what I am saying is those who should be able to take something from my blog are:
- Bunny owners
- Teenage Girls
- Young Women
- Middle- Aged Women
- Older Women
- PCOS sufferers
- Makeup buffs
- Students
- People who like to cook
- People who just like interesting things
- People looking for a good deal!
- Those who are bored :)

So in a nut-shell, I am going to be putting here whatever I think others might find interesting, thing that people can learn, and just all around stuff that you might like!

I hope everyone stays tuned, please subscribe and leave comments and feedback!
